West Virginia Receives $7.8 Million in Federal Funds for Health Information Exchange Efforts 

February 2010 - The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources received $7.8 million in Federal funds as part of the State Health Information Exchange Cooperative Agreement Program.  The West Virginia Health Information Network (WVHIN) will use these funds to create the technical architecture to enable the exchange of patient data across West Virginia's healthcare system.  To view a list of all awardees, click here.  To learn more about the State Health Information Exchange Cooperative Agreement Program, click here.
